All subjects attending the Center’s 10 week CE Adult Stroke program showed improved neural connectivity (stronger connections developed between regions of the brain) and improved hand function! The study used imaging (DTI/MRI) as well as traditional PT assessment tools to measure changes. This is the first time that it has been shown how Conductive Education impacts the brain’s functioning. The study also concurs with the functional improvement findings of Dr. Melanie Brown, (U.K.) who studied the impact of CE for individuals with chronic stroke symptoms.
